Here is the hybrid pet we made just for Halloween: ObsidiChess. It purrs loudly and demands constant attention.

Cathy made Cameron's costume. He was Link from The Legend of Zelda.

Saturday night we went to a Halloween Festival in Glendale.

The vigilant Link protects Cathy from nefarious novelty vendors and karaoke-armed Elvis impersonators.

Sunday night the kids started at the mall. Later the children laid seige to suburbia but Cathy didn't take any pictures because she was too scared.

At the mall we ran into two other Links. The two green Links are brothers and their sister was dressed up as Princess Zelda.
